Where This Started

It began with
a box of shirts

One morning I decided to turn a small hobby (reconstructing and upcycling thrift store shirts) into something real. By the end of that day I had a complete business tracker, a tax strategy, a trademark search, a domain name, and a clear picture of what my time was actually worth.


I didn't hire anyone. I used AI to think better, move faster, and ask the right questions. And then I called the people who actually know: the accountant. The attorney. The domain expert.


That's what I teach. And it works whether you're a solo maker, a small business owner, or a team trying to figure out what AI actually means for the work you do every day.

This Bella Life exists at the intersection of two things that look different on the surface but come from exactly the same place.

There is the work of reconstructing a shirt, finding something overlooked, understanding what it could become, and putting in the patient hours to make it worthy of someone's wardrobe. And there is the work of helping a person or a team discover what they are capable of with the right tools, the right questions, and someone willing to tell them the truth.

Both are about a better life. Not a perfect life. A more purposeful one, where the work you do reflects what you value, where you keep learning, and where the hours you spend feel like they belong to you.

That is what we mean by This Bella Life. An authentic purpose. An elevated way of work for a good life in a changing world.

The Shirt Experiment

The hobby that
proved the concept

This Bella Life started with a box of thrift store shirts and a question: could I turn this into something real?


What unfolded was an accidental live demonstration of everything we teach. Expense tracking. Tax strategy. Brand identity. Trademark research. Mileage deductions. Pricing for real profit. The difference between what AI can tell you and when to call the accountant.


The shirts are still being made. Each one reconstructed, hemmed, and given a second life. Available through our Etsy shop, and every one has a story that begins at a thrift store and ends with something worth wearing.


The same instinct that finds the right shirt (the one worth saving, worth the hours, worth the care) is the instinct we bring to everything here.
