What people ask us

About the training
Do I need any technical background to attend?+
No. This training is designed specifically for non-developers: people who work with AI tools but do not build them. If you can type a prompt you have everything you need. We meet you exactly where you are.
Which AI tools do you teach?+
We work primarily with Claude (Anthropic), Gemini (Google), and ChatGPT (OpenAI). We also cover Google's NotebookLM for document-based work, and platform-specific tools like Gemini Gems, Claude Projects, and ChatGPT custom GPTs. We help you choose the right tool for your context rather than promoting any single platform.
What will I actually walk away with?+
Every participant leaves with at least one working augmentor: a customized personal AI tool built around a real task from your own work (personal tools can often be shared depending on your setup). You also leave with three core prompt patterns you can apply immediately, and a clear understanding of when to use AI and when to call the human expert. Not theory. Working tools.
How is this different from other AI training?+
Most AI training teaches people to trust AI more. We teach people to direct it better, and to recognize when it is wrong. We also teach the domain expert principle: AI prepares you for the accountant, the attorney, the developer. It does not replace them. That honest framing is rare in this space, and it is the foundation of everything we do here.
Is there pre-work before a session?+
For workshops and most coaching engagements, yes. We send an AI literacy check and a drudge work assessment before your session. These take about 6 minutes and help us personalize your training, so no time is spent on things that do not apply to you. Pre-work is sent after booking is confirmed.
Team workshops
How many people can attend a workshop?+
Up to 10 participants per session. This keeps things hands-on and ensures every participant gets real attention. Larger teams can book multiple sessions; reach out and we can build a schedule that works for your organization.
What does a workshop session cover?+
A half-day workshop covers: understanding your AI tools and their practical differences, hands-on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) using NotebookLM (for Google Workspace users), building a working augmentor around a real task from your work, the three core prompt patterns (Persona, Template, and Flipped Interaction), and the data privacy questions your IT and legal teams need to answer before you use AI for sensitive work. A full-day session goes deeper into prompt patterns and includes more hands-on building time.
Can workshops be delivered in-person?+
Yes. In-person sessions are available within approximately 50 miles of Madison, Wisconsin. All sessions are also available fully remote via video call, nationwide. If your organization is outside that radius and requires on-site delivery, reach out, as larger engagements may be accommodated on a case-by-case basis.
Will you sign a contract for organizational engagements?+
Yes. For organizational engagements a simple consulting agreement is standard, covering scope, deliverables, payment terms, and expectations. This protects both parties and sets the engagement up for success. Contact us to discuss.
Coaching and consulting
What is the difference between coaching and consulting?+
Coaching is for individuals who want to build AI fluency at their own pace, typically through one-on-one sessions focused on your specific role and goals. Consulting is for small businesses or teams who want help auditing their workflows, selecting the right tools, and building systems that fit how they actually work. Both start with a discovery call to make sure the fit is right.
How many coaching sessions do most people need?+
It depends on where you are starting and what you want to achieve. Some people get what they need in two or three sessions. Others prefer an ongoing monthly retainer to stay current as the tools evolve. We will not recommend more sessions than you actually need; we discuss this honestly during the discovery call.
Availability and scheduling
When are you available?+
Sessions are scheduled weekday evenings and weekends. This is intentional: every session gets full attention, not a distracted half-hour between other commitments. For daytime communication, the contact form is monitored and we respond within 24-48 business hours.
I need to reach you during business hours. How?+
Use the contact form on the main site. We respond to all inquiries within 24-48 business hours including those received during business hours. For matters related to a confirmed booking email [email protected] directly.
Payment and pricing
How much does training cost?+
Team workshops start at $500 for a half-day session of up to 10 participants. Full-day sessions and larger engagements are priced based on scope. Coaching and consulting rates are discussed during the discovery call. We are straightforward about pricing. No surprises.
How does payment work?+
A deposit is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due before your session begins. Payment is processed via PayPal: simple, secure, and familiar to most people.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?+
If you cancel more than 48 hours before your session, your deposit is fully refunded. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable, but we will work with you to reschedule. We are reasonable. If something unexpected happens, reach out and we will figure it out together.
Data, privacy, and AI safety
Is it safe to use AI tools with our company data?+
This is exactly the right question to ask, and it is one your IT and legal teams need to answer for your specific organization. This Bella Life does not provide legal or security advice. What we do is teach you the right questions to ask, explain the difference between consumer and enterprise AI accounts, and make sure no one on your team puts sensitive data into a tool before those questions are answered. We take this responsibility seriously.
Will AI replace my job or my team?+
That fear is understandable and worth taking seriously. The honest answer: organizations that replaced people wholesale with AI are already discovering the costs. Forrester Research found that 55% of employers regret AI-related layoffs, and many are quietly rehiring. The people who thrive are the ones who bring their domain expertise to the conversation and use AI to clear the drudge work away. That is exactly what this training is designed to help you do.
